This training course focuses on the principles and practices of conducting risk assessments in various environments, providing candidates with an understanding of their responsibilities and accountability for health, safety and welfare.
This course will culminate in a theory test and practical assessment.

City & Guilds Award in Principles of COSHH

This training course is designed to provide individuals with a clear understanding of the inherent risks associated with hazardous substances and the steps that can be taken to mitigate or reduce these risks. This is beneficial to individuals working in roles or facilities surrounding the storage, use or creation of such substances.
This course will culminate in a theory multiple-choice exam.

- Definition and forms of hazardous substances
- The risks to health from exposure to hazardous substances
- Methods of identification of hazardous substances
- Understanding COSHH Safety Data Sheets
- Understanding the risk from biological agents (biohazards)
