Face Fit Users

This course provides the candidate with the practical skills and understanding necessary for the correct and safe operation and fitment of PPE/RPE. There is a particular emphasis on the importance of face fit, including maintaining RPE and hygiene requirements.
The course culminates in a theory-based multiple-choice assessment and a practical assessment.
This course covers:
- Occupational and work-related ill health and lung disease statistics
- The Health & Safety at Work Act
- Management of Health & Safety at Work Regulations
- PPE Regulations
- COSHH
- RIDDOR
- Use of HSG53 respiratory protective equipment at work
- INDG 478 guidance on respiratory protective equipment fit testing
- Unsafe conditions
- FFP1, FFP2 and FFP3 dust mask types
- Donning and doffing face fit masks
Face Fit Management
£XXX per candidate
This course covers the management of RPE in the workplace or at the worksite, including safe and correct operation and fitment, hygiene and maintenance requirements.
The course culminates in a theory-based multiple-choice assessment and a practical assessment
