Face Fit Users 

£XXX  per candidate

This course provides the candidate with the practical skills and understanding necessary for the correct and safe operation and fitment of PPE/RPE. There is a particular emphasis on the importance of face fit, including maintaining RPE and hygiene requirements.

The course culminates in a theory-based multiple-choice assessment and a practical assessment.

This course covers:

  • Occupational and work-related ill health and lung disease statistics
  • The Health & Safety at Work Act
  • Management of Health & Safety at Work Regulations
  • PPE Regulations

  • COSHH
  • RIDDOR
  • Use of HSG53 respiratory protective equipment at work
  • INDG 478 guidance on respiratory protective equipment fit testing

  • Unsafe conditions
  • FFP1, FFP2 and FFP3 dust mask types
  • Donning and doffing face fit masks

Face Fit Management 

£XXX per candidate
