NEBOSH - Fire Safety & Risk Management
£XXX per candidate
This course is designed for candidates who have fire safety responsibilities in their workplace, such as fire marshals. This qualification provides the skills and knowledge required to safety and effectively manage fire risks. Candidates will also learn how to carry out fire risk assessments in low- to medium-risk workplaces.
This course covers:
- Managing fire safety
- Principles of fire and explosion
- Causes and prevention of fires
- Fire protection in buildings
- Safety of people in the event of a fire
- Fire safety risk assessment
NEBOSH - National General Certificate
£XXX per candidate
This two-week course is considered one of the best health and safety qualifications on the market. By the end of the course, candidates will have a comprehensive understanding of health and safety principles and practices. This includes ways to control and address common workplace hazards such as electrics, fires, lifting and carrying, transportation and hazardous substances.
The course culminates in a practical safety inspection and two written theory examinations.
The course will cover:
Week One:
- Management of health & safety
- Looking at the key principles of health and safety management, and how these are implemented
Week Two:
- Controlling Workplace Hazards
- A 2-day revision session where topics covered will be consolidated and delegates can request to look at any specific course areas.
Assessment and Exams:
- A safety inspection, before producing a report that makes a practical case for actions to be taken
- Two written theory examinations, each lasting 2 hours.
